To all candidates requesting alternative tests and tests in accessible formats

ABRSM produces a wide range of alternative tests and tests in braille, large and modified print. These tests are produced on demand from facilities in our office. Due to restrictions relating to Coronavirus, we are currently not able to access our office as flexibly or as regularly as usual. We shall do everything we can to ensure that we can continue to provide the materials you need for your exam, but there may be occasions where this is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control.

What we have done
We have explored alternative means of producing and delivering materials to examiners. We shall also produce and send these materials earlier than usual to allow for contingencies.

How you can help us to help you
If you require any kind of alternative test materials or tests in accessible formats, it is really important that you select the relevant option when making your exam entry online. If you require any advice on what options are most appropriate, please email our Access Coordinator ahead of making your entry.

If you require assistance with making your exam entry, please review the guidance and videos on our website.

In line with our Access policy, we shall not be able to accept requests for alternative test materials or tests in accessible formats after you have made your entry. If your requirements change between making the exam entry and the exam day, please contact us and we will be happy to provide a refund.

Thank you for your understanding.
